What is impingement sign?
bring arm up from side –> tuberosity of proximal humerus hits acromion
What test for rotator cuff tear?
- drop arm test
What is golfer vs tennis epicondylitis?
golfer = medial tennis = lateral
What is finkelsteins manuever?
sign of de quervains disease = tenosynovitis of thumb extensor tendons/aductors
What does thumb grinding test tell you?
carpometacarpal osteoarthritis
What should you think if bump on back of wrist that you can press to pop?
ganglion cyst = herniation of tendon sheeth; very common; benign
What happens when scaphoid fractures?
get avascular necrosis of bone –> doe not turn over, looks white
What are heberden nodes?
inflammation of DIP
What are bouchard nodes?
inflammation of PIP
What is presentation of olecranon bursitis?
pinpoint tenderness distal to epicondyle
