What is psychotherapy?
It is a trained therapist using psychological techniques to assist in personal difficulties/growth

Identification of problems, change, and managing/overcoming difficulties

It is practiced relaxation for tasks that have low SUDS scores that slowly move up

It is a subjective unit of distress

It is the focus on the betterment of the person as a whole

What does congruence mean in humanistic therapy?
It ensures the therapist is genuine and authentic

It is a focus on changing thoughts -> behaviour

It represents it as a thought distortion that is all or nothing, catastrophizing, and it discounts positives
