Define learning plateau
A
Is a period during performance when there are no signs of improvement

What is the learning curve
A
Stage 1- The rate of learning is slow and skill level is poor as they are new to the task
Stage 2- Rapid acceleration in rate of learning as learner has gained some success
Stage 3- No improvement in rate of learning and performance has reached plateau
Stage 4 (Drive Reduction)- An end of task when skill levels may get worse. Occurs when initial drive to succeed has been lost
