What regulation governs the issue of ATC licences in the UK?

What does an ATC licence allow an ATCO to do?
Authorises them to provide ATC services in accordance with the ratings and endorsements in their licence.
What details must appear on an ATC licence?
- State issuing the licence
- Title of the licence
- Serial no. of the licence given by the authority issuing the licence
- Name, DOB, address, nationality and signature of the holder
- Competent authority
- Certification of validity plus dates of first issue
- Signature of issuing officer and date
- Seal or stamp of competent authority
For what reasons may action be taken against an ATCO’s licence?
- Deficiency in, or doubts about, competence to provide an ATC service
- Doubts about whether an individual is a fit person to hold a licence, in relation to their character or behaviour, including their integrity, reliability and self-control
- Inability to meet the appropriate medical standards
What is the suspension of an ATC licence?
To place licences, ratings or endorsements in abeyance, with conditions set.
What is the revocation of an ATC licence?
The act of withdrawing licences, ratings or endorsements
WIthin what time period must an MOR be filed?
72 hours
What is the speed limit and in what Airspace does it apply?
Class C, D, F & G

What is the minimum level of a CTA?
700ft AGL

What are your actions regarding an A/C that has experienced transponder failure after departure?
Should endeavour to provide for the continuation of the flight to the aerodrome of first intended landing in accordance with the flight plan
However if this is not possible due to either traffic conditions or when the failure is detected shortly after take-off the a/c may be required to return to the departure aerodrome or to land at the nearest suitable aerodrome acceptable to the operator and ATC
What are your actions in the event of failure of the surveillance equipment?
- Plot the position of all a/c already identified and, and if able or with the help of a procedureal colleague, establish procedural sep between a/c
- Allow a procedurally rated colleague to take over if you are not qualified to do so
- Instruct a/c to communicate with the non-surveillance controller for further instructions
