Q

What is the Auto Function for fuel transfer on the CRJ?

A

Transfer SOV(Shut off Valves) open to allow motive flow to transfer fuel from the centre tank to the two main tanks through two transfer ejectors.

A balancing system operates to balance the fuel between the two wing tanks.

  • One operation is with a x-flow pump, the other is gravity balanced with an x-flow valve
