Q

explain why glaciated uplands are suitable for industry

A
  1. The older sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rocks can be used for construction materials for roads and buildings as they are hard wearing
  2. Steep slopes mean there is little soil or vegetation covering the rocks, this makes the rocks easy to get therefore cheaper to quarry
