What is Mondor’s Disease?
Mondor’s disease is a superficial thrombophlebitis of the breast that develops when blood clots form in the superficial veins of the breast. Mondor’s disease happens after trauma to the breast
Diagnosis is confirmed by US or mamogram.
< 20 weeks gestation

dilated cervix
no tissue visualized from the os or within the vaginal vault
Inevitable abortion
open cervix, no tissue
vaginal bleeding

At what age do you begin screening for HPV?
From 30-69 years of age, do a Pap every 5 years along with HPV co-testing
Before age 30- just do a Pap (cervical cytology)
If a pregnant woman has had a baby born with an invasive GBS infection, do you need to test her again?
No. The previous baby with the invasive GBS infection means that mom is (+) for GBS colonization and does not need to be tested again.
Treat all subsequent pregnancies for GBS infection.
Pregnant patients with preeclampsia without severe features should be delivered at how many weeks?

Preeclampsia without severe features is defined by two blood pressures > 140/90 and or <160/110 mmHg more than 4 hours apart in a previously normotensive woman after 20 weeks gestation with proteinuria higher than 300 mg and less than 5 g/24 hrs.
When do you recommend supplementing vitamin D in an infant’s diet?
if the infant is exclusively breast fead
What tumor marker is elevated in patients with breast cancer?
Cancer antigen 15-3 is a transmembrane glycoprotein known as MUC1.
CA15-3 is overexpressed in malignant breast glandular cells in patients with breast cancer.
CA 15-3 is most often used to determine if there is recurrence or for trending to assess success of treatment in breast cancer.
What screening sould be done at a 28 week OB visit?
Check for gestational diabetes at the 28 week OB visit
