A

Lamellae are the pirmary non-celluat matrix of bone

Name 4 types of Llamelae and where to find them

A

Concentric Lamellae, make up the main structure of the osteon. Interstitial Lamellae form martix between osterons in compact bone. Circumferential Lamellae extend around the entire circumerence of the bone. Trabeculae are irregularly arrangeed llamellae in the spongy bone.

What are the two Canel types supplying blood throughout the bood and where would you find them?

A

The Cetnral or Haversian Canal, found in the center of the osteon running parralel in it. The Peferating/ Volkmann’s canal which runs perpendicular and connects that Haversian Canals.

A

It is the bone matrix that compose the spongy bone

A

It is the Marrow space. It is found in the shaft of a long bone nad in the songy bone in a flat bone, in between the trabeculae
