How did the rebellion start?
As an enclosure riot in Norfolk against local lawyer Flowerdew, who had enclosed land
What else did the rebels oppose?
Abuse of office in local government and the inequality in society
What was the social inequality within Norfolk?
6% of the population owned 60% of the goods

Lincolnshire, Hertfordshire and Surrey

- The rebels would go on to brutally murder Lord Sheffield
- Marquis of Northampton’s force of 14,000 would be defeated
- Earl of Warwick sent, leading to the massacre of the rebels at Dussindale
