Pharmacist, pharm tech, pharmaceutical chemist, apothecary, druggist.

What is BC’s scope of practice in terms of INITIAL ACCESS PRESCRIBING?

Answer 2

Can only prescribe for:
1) 21 minor ailments

and

2) Hormonal contraception (all types)

Question 3

List the Rph Restricted actiivites (6)

Answer 3

i) can dx and prescribe for 21 minor ailments

ii) Can prescribe hormonal contraception

iii) compound

iv) dispense

v) Admin drugs (sch 1, IA or II) via all routes (IM, SC, IDM or INS)(exceptions: can;t do any cosmetic injections or allergy shots)

vi) cmpd or dispense TPN.
