General PROHIBITION RULES around INCENTIVES:
- registrants are prohibited from offering incentives which would influence their decision to:
i) deliver a prescription (ie. choose a specific pharamcy or pharmacist to fill an Rx.
ii) or choose a SPECIFIC pharmacy/ pharmacist for OTHER pharmacy related services (i.e. med reviews, consultations).
What are the exceptions to the “no incentives” rule? (3)
1) free or discounted parking allowed
2) free or discounted delivery services is allowed
3) credit/debti card linked incentives (ie..e points or cash back programs - scene card).
Is the prohibition on providing incentives applicable to sch. III and unschedule drugs (i.e. OTCs)?
nO- incentives allwoed for OTC
