lesser jihad origin
A
The concept of lesser jihad arose when Prophet Muhammad
gave his faithful followers authorisation to fight.
Muhammad’s enemies in Makkah planned to wipe out all Muslims and so they believed that there was no choice other than to engage in conflict.
