What makes up a FWP?
Materials required, initial conditions, Maintenance procedures, test and inspection, and system restoration for the selected maintenance task.
What is a Q-point?
A Q point is a critical execution point whose proper accomplishments overwhelmingly affects the ultimate first-time quality success of the process.
When is a CWP required?
A CWP is required when higher authority requires a record (Objective Quality Evidence (OQE)) of repairs, maintenance for fabrication, repair, installation, inspection and testing process for specific systems or components.
What makes up a CWP in its simplest form?
A MP and the required QA forms.
What is a sequencing document used for?
To tie two Technical work documents (TWD’s) together when a single TWD is insufficient.
What are the required enclosures of an FWP?
*Material, Initial Conditions, Procedures, Test and inspection, System restoration.
What symbol is (R) used for in a FWP?
Steps requiring verification or inspection.
What symbol is (S) used for in a FWP?
Steps in an FMA procedure requiring verification by a member of Ship’s Force.

Steps requiring Cleanliness Inspection by craftsman.

Who approves the opening and closing of FWP’s?
Opens- Dept Head approves opening FWP’s
Closes- LPO or LWC Supervisor and designated assist LPO or WCS.
When may a pen and ink change be made to a FWP?
May be made for minor administrative changes that do not change the scope or intent of the FWP.
