Category 1D card?
Corrective action must be accomplished on a specified component prior to its use, but overall system retains its certification.
Category 2 card?
Corrective action is desirable, but no mandatory.
How far out must the applicant request the SCA for an on site survey?
no less than 90 days prior to desired cert date
How long can a cert extension be for?
normally up to 90 days
Extensions 30 days or less can be granted via?
email. Longer extensions require formal approval letter from SCA.
