What are the causes if you see jaundice on examination?
A
Pre hepatic - Haemolysis
Hepatic - Any cause of cirrhosis
Post hepatic - cholangitis, pancreatic cancer, gall stones, cholangiocarcinoma

What are the investigations?
A
To finish the exam i would like - to do a PR, check the groin for hernia and do urinalysis
By the bed - History and obs
Bloods - FBC, U/E, LFTs and albumin, amylase, cultures, group and save
Others - ABG, AXR, Erect CXR, US
