Obs - Signs if infection
RLQ pain
Widespread peritonism
Rosvings sign

What are the investigations?
A
To finish the exam i would like - to do a PR, check the groin for hernia and do urinalysis
By the bed - History and obs
Bloods - FBC, U/E, LFTs and albumin, amylase, cultures, group and save
Others - ABG, AXR, Erect CXR, US
PREGNANCY TEST IN FEMALES

US shows inflammation

What is the treatment?
A
Conservative - Explain what it is and put the patient NBM
Medical - Analgesia and antibioics
Surgical - List for appendectomy
