What are the common examination findings?
A
Inspection - Thin, pale, febrile
Hands/Legs - Clubbing, erythema nodsoum, pyoderma gangrenosum
Face - Uveitis, apthous ulcers
Abdomen - Laporotomy scars/stoma/tender in RIF (Crohns) LIF (UC)

What are the investigations?
A
To finish the exam i would like - to do a PR, check the groin for hernia and do urinalysis
By the bed - History, obs
Bloods - FBC, LFTs and albumin, Amylase, U/E, ESR/CRP, group and save
Other - Abdo x ray, erect CXR, Stool sample,

What is the treatment?
A
Conservative - Education, and lifestyle advice
Medical - Steroids, IV fluids and Antibiotics, nutritional support
Surgical
- Colectomy or stoma
