ISCC Call Overflow Flashcards

1
Q

inbound-only

A

Call Overflow Parameters that the T-server send queries to match inbound calls or any call type. If Call attribute is not inbound and it set to true then it will exclude inbound calls. Determine what type of calls ISCC COF queries should be sent.

Q

ISSCRequestGetCallInfo

A

Request sent to remote T-server(originator) to verify if the call overflowed there once the call has arrived on Dest. Switch. (Call Matching Step 1)

Q

ISSCEventCallInfo

A

If the request was successful the remote T-Server will send the Call Data to the requesting T-Sever. The T-server at the destination will update the data(ConnID, CallType UserData, and CallHistory)
(Call Matching Step 2). Distribute all suspended event related to the call and deleted transaction information.

Q

ISSCEventCallDeleted

A

Q

How does the ISCC determine the location of the original T-Server to send ISCCRequestGetCallInfo after call arrives?

A

The T-server checks the call once the it is alerted by the switch via CTI of the call arrival. ISCC will attempt to match the call type, ANI, CallID, or OtherDN attribute after checking the call attribute and the switch type and switch access code. The ISSC will query connected T-server(remote) on whether they have the matching call. The remote Switch Access Code must have these overflow parameter configured corresponding to the attribute.

Q

COF Switch Support for attribute type

A

All switches support Ani/Other DN matching because the switch sends data through the PSTN for call transfer. Only a few switches network call ID.

Q

What is Call Overflow

A

Passive external routing where when the call arrives at the destination switch call matching will be performed. The attribute of the call will be checked(Network CallID or Ani/Other DN) and ISCC will query the remote destination for the matching call to get the call data.
