  2. Tonic.
    • The continuos & passive partial contraction of the muscle
    • Muscles resistance to passive stretching during its resting state

Tendons connect skeletal muscles to bone, cartilage, ligament, fascia, organs or skin.

  • Composed mainly of parallel arrays of collagen fibers
  • Aponeuroses are flat sheeted tendons.
