Remove or treat underlying cause
Home oxygen when at rest

What is idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis?
A
Happens randomly, on examination bibasal fine inspiratory crackles and finger clubbing can be seen.
Two medication given to slow progression:
- Pirfenidone
- Niatedanib

What is drug induced pulmonary fibrosis?
A
Drugs that cause it:
- Amiodarone
- Cyclophosphamide
- Methotrexate
- Nitrofurantoin
