What are the characteristics of a profession?
-Formal specialized body of knowledge (ie. as pharmacists that means we have our own body knowledge of drugs).
-Autonomy/Control over their own work
-This involves meeting certain standards to restrict who can practice (ie.Not anyone can perform the duties of a pharmacist)
