Treatment of Head Injury:

A
  1. Immobilize the head in a neutral position
  2. Maintain an open airway with the jaw-thrust maneuver

Monitor for CAB’s

Jaw-Thrust Maneuver - prevent the tongue from obstructing the upper airways. When the mandible is displaced forward, it pulls the tongue forward and prevents it from obstructing the entrance to the trachea.
