computer technonology can be used by businesses to make many day to day decisons such as staffing levels, hoe many deleiveries will made and when to order new stock

helps determine. production, rota staff shifta, delivery schedules etc
what is managment information system ( MIS)
decision making aid- used by managers in day to day decision making: tactical and startegic decison making, continuously collects data and processes for managers to use when they need to make decisions
what are smart IT systems
decision making models- use both internal and external data to produce decision making models e.g. critical oath analysis and decision trees, helps save time and efficiency and avoids human error thewse are then used to aid decison masking
what is data processing tech
data processing tech is used ften by banks which analyses large amounts of data and information helping speed up decision making, can use systems like AI and expert systems which mimic humand decision making and reasoning and provides evidence based conclusions
what are financial info systems
are used by businesses to deal with financial information, creates reports e.g. cash flow or income statement which is used to help with financial managment
avoids anty human error, saves time and monitors data to identify any variances or changes from origninal forecasts
