What is step 1 of calculating the sign test?

A

work out the s value:
- compare your 2 conditions = work out if the change is a +/-
- if no change write = (& ignore ppt)
- doesn’t matter which way round as long as you are consistent
- count up your + & -
- the smaller value is your S value
