Penicillin V 500mh q6 x10 days
If PCN allergy: Azithromycin 500mg x1 day then 250mg x4 days

What is the most common cause for epiglottits and treatment?
H flu, strep, gram negatives. Treatment is a 2nd or 3rd gen cephalosporin such as Ceftriaxone, Cefotoxime or Ceftizoxime.
ETEC symptoms?
Noninvasive, nonbloody, watery diarrhea, resolves in a few days to 1 week.
What is the treatment for diphtheria?
Penicillin or erithromycin to reduce transmission and antitoxin.
What is the most common bacterial STI?
Chlamydia trachomatis: 1g Azithromycin and 100mg Doxy BID x7 days
What is the most common bacterial cause of pneumonia in alcoholics?
Strep pneumo, most also think about Klebsiella and aspiration. Treat with a third gen cephalosporin and a macrolide or floroquinolone.
