- plain films are diagnostic more in sigmoid than cecal volvulus
- Sigmoid treated endoscopically, cecal surgically

How does cecal volvulus present on plain films?
A
Extremely dilated cecum in the left upper quadrant

intussusception in adults
A
Generally in the small intestine and almost always with a lead point (75% malignancy). Signs and symptoms are of incomplete bowel obstruction.

What is the most common cause of gastritis?
A
H Pylori; on endoscopy will see inflamed, edematous, friable gastric mucosa.
