Ludwig’s Angina
A
Rapidly progressive gangrenous cellulitis of the soft tissue of the neck and mouth floor, originating in the submandibular space. The most common causeis dental inefctions. Causes dysphagia, neck sweling and pain, tongue elvation.

Acute nectrotizing ulcerative gingivitis
A
Characterized by painful and friable gingiva caused by spiochetes and fusobacteria. Treated with oral abx and good oral hygeine.

What is Vincent’s angina?
A
Acute necrotizing ulcerative gingivitis that extends to the tonsils.
