What do sports facilities do to make them accessible to disabled?
- Access - doors and doorways must be wide to allow a wheelchair through. Must also have ramps.
- Parking - disabled bats made available.
- Provision - lifts must allow access to upper floors, disables toilets and specific activities suited for the disabled.

- Muslims - sport would not typically be what a women should do in society.
- British/New Zealand/USA/China/Australia - all encourage an active lifestyle.

- Low body fat

What is a mesomorph?
- More muscle mass than body fat
- Broad shoulders, narrow hips
- Strong forearms and thighs

What is humidity?
The amount of water vapour in the air
Why can too much humidity decrease performance?
Causes extreme uncomfortableness and difficulty to breath
Why can too much pollution decrease performance?
Air is thicker to harder to inhale
Why can training at altitude increase performance?
Because there’s a lack of O2 at altitude so body has to work harder so when at ground level it’s easier.
Increase the amount of haemoglobin in blood.
Why does terrain effect performance?
Most sports will ideally be played on a specific surface
What is competitive sport?
An activity that involves some form of contest, rivalry or game
What is recreational sport?
Any form of play, amusement or relaxation performed as games, sports or hobbies
