*With the E/WD displayed on the lower screen, how else can you view SD info?
Press and hold the appropriate system button on the ECAM CONTROL panel.
*What occurs when TO CONFIG pb is pressed?
-The system simulates the application of take off power and checks certain systems for proper configuration.
-A warning is displayed if a system is not configured properly.
-“TO CONFIG NORMAL” is displayed if the configuration is correct.
*What does the ALL pushbutton do?
-Displays ALL the system pages in 1 second intervals when held down.
-Release the pushbutton to display the current system page.
*What does the RCL pushbutton do?
-Allows you to recall any warning or caution messages that the activation of the CLR pushbutton or flight phase inhibition may have suppressed.
-If you held it longer than 3 sec, the E/WD will show any caution messages suppressed by the EMER CANC pushbutton.
*If you press the STS button and the system has no status messages what will be displayed?
NORMAL for 5 secs
*If power fails to the ECAM CONTROL panel which buttons are still operational?
EMER CANC
ALL
CLR
STS
RCL
*What does the EMER CANC do?
Cancels the current level 1 or 2 warning for the remainder of the flight.
Cancels the current level 3 warning for that occurrance.
*What do you look for on the PRELIMINARY FLIGHT DECK PREP quantity check?
ENG-oil quantity above 9.5 qts + 0.5 quarts per planned flight hours
HYD- hydraulic quantity indexes in normal filling range.
DOOR- oxygen pressure- if half boxed in amber, check the MIN FLT CREW OXY CHART (PRC). Limitations.
