  • now many have British nationality

  • introduce new cultures and religious festivals eg. Diwali in schools
  • politics - House of Commons has 15 members of Indian heritage
  • food - Indian takeaway 3x as popular as traditional fish and chips
  • sports - cricket and Indian people representing England
