- LAIV (Flumist): okay for health nonpregnant 2-49yo

What is a rare but serious adverse effect?
- Series of 3 (6 weeks to 32 weeks)
- Must complete series before 32 weeks (8 months)
- Can lead to intussusception at 3 weeks in rare cases
Recommendations to infants born to mother with HBsAg (hepatitis B antigen) status unknown
- Determine/check status immediately at birth
- Hep B vaccine within 12 hours of birth
- If mom tests positive, give HBIG no later than 1 week of age
