The main cell that fights pathogens. Originates from the stem cell of red bone marrow.
White blood cells
75 percent of white blood cells. A type of white blood cell where they engulf and destroy bacteria and debris.
Phagocytes
One of the classes of phagocytes where it consumes foreign particles for its use.
Macrophages
A type of Lymphocytes that mature in the red bone marrow then migrates to blood and other tissues.
B-cells
A type of Lymphocytes that originate in red bone marrow but matures in the thymus, a small immune organ in the chest.
T-cells
Coordinate and start an immune system response and attack infected or cancerous cells.
Lymphocytes
A type of lymphocytes that attacks cancerous or virus cells.
Natural killer cell
Type of white blood cell which releases chemical signals, inflammation, and allergic reaction. Originates in the red bone marrow.
