What is an illusion ?
Stimulus that causes a person to see something different from what is actually there, or more interpretations of same image
Müller-lyer illusion ?

Lines are same length but inward pointing arrow makes it seem longer
Rubin’s vase illusion ?
Either two faces looking at each other or a vase
Ames room illusion ?
From front, room looks ordinary but is actually DISTORTED, one corner is further away from other so it looks like one person is larger than the other when standing in corners
Kanizsa triangle illusion ?
Tree circles with a wedge shaped sections removed like corners of triangle, people see sides of triangle appearing faintly
Necker cube illusion ?

Ambiguity meaning ?
Two or more ways that a 2D shape can be perceived
Fiction meaning ?
Person perceives something that isn’t actually there, e.g. kanizsa triangle
Misinterpreted depth cue meaning ?
Cues guide us to depth and distance an mislead the processes of perception.
