Where should we maintain SaO2 in oxygen therapy?
90-95%
UAO management:
Intubated - suction catheter, urgent bronchoscopy, reintubation
Not intubated - high FiO2
HTN value:
180/95
Ventricular tachycardia treatment:
Lidocaine, amiodarone, magnesium
SVT and AF:
Carotid sinus massage, amiodarone, adenosine, magnesium, verapamil
AF:
Digoxin
Oliguria value:
0.5ml/kg/hr
Decreased production of which clotting factors in liver disease:
2, 7, 9, 10
Anticonvulsants are necessary where there are repeated seizures or a single seizure lasts >30 mins, or there is cyanosis
1st - Benzos
Phenytoin
Mg sulphate
Clonazepam
Thiopental or propofol
How to handle increased ICP?
Bed rest
20-30 degree head tilt
Mannitol, furosemide
Dexamethasone
Non-opioid analgesics:
Paracetamol, NSAIDS, ketamine, a2-agonists
