Flushed hot, dry skin
Excess/no sweating
Temp over 40C
Rapid pulse
Difficulty breathing
Anxiety + restlessness
Communication issues + disorientation
Severe vomiting + diarrhoea
Unconsciousness
Heat stroke treatment
Move the patient to the shade
Recovery position
Cool with sponge/water sprays/fans/wet sheet/cold packs to the necks + armpits
Heat exhaustion signs + symptoms
Pale face
Hot + flushed skin
Excess sweating
Rapid pulse/heart beat
Fatigue
Muscle cramps
Nausea/vomiting
Headache
Dizziness/fainting

Cool fluids
Remove clothing/fan/sponge
Hypothermia - signs
Shivering
Confusion
Drowsiness
Weak pulse
Slow shallow breathing
Unconsciousness
Hypothermia treatment
Shelter from cold
Don’t let them walk
Remove wet clothes
Cover leaving face exposed
Protect from cold with blankets
