Use low/middle grade disinfectants
Kills all forms of microorganisms including bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores
Sterilization
types:
thermal - moist: steam autocalve
Dry: hot air oven 160*C for 60 minutes
Irradiation - UV light, ionizing
Chemical - general (unreliable)
Used on living tissue, inhibits growth or destroying microorganisms
