Just Green and Blue are powered. Yellow System would not be powered with 1 Engine Master ON and Parking Brake ON. PTU is inhibited in this configuration.
If you forget to turn on the Y Electric Pump during One Engine Taxi, the G and B systems will still be powered. Which hydraulic system(s) will operate if the Parking Brake is selected OFF?
All hydraulic systems are powered. Yellow system powered through PTU with 1 Engine Master ON and Parking Brake OFF.

What could cause the PTU FAULT light to illuminate?
Illuminates with ECAM caution, if:
- The green or the yellow reservoir overheats
- The green or the yellow reservoir has low air pressure
- The green or the yellow reservoir has low fluid level
- The FAULT light remains illuminated if the overheat is active
In flight, when will the PTU operate with the pb in AUTO?
The PTU operates automatically when the differential pressure between the green and yellow system is more than 500 psi
With the RAT MAN ON pb armed (guarded), when will the RAT deploy automatically?
The RAT will automatically extend if both AC 1 and AC 2 are lost and the airspeed is > 100 kts
What will occur when the RAT MAN ON pb is pressed?
On the HYD panel
- RAT will deploy (even on the ground)

What is the difference between pressing the RAT MAN ON button on the HYD panel vs. the MAN ON button on the EMER ELEC PWR panel?
Electrics will not couple using the HYD panel MAN ON button
When is the PTU inhibited?
The PTU is inhibited:
- First engine start
- One ENG Master ON and PARK BRK set
- NWS DISC displayed on ECAM
- Cargo door operation
When is the PTU automatically tested?
The PTU is automatically tested during the second engine start
You experience a G RSVR OVHT ECAM Caution. After completing the non-normal procedure, the FAULT lights (below) remain illuminated, but then extinguish several minutes later. When the lights extinguish, what does this indicate?
The overheat condition has abated

Why is the hydraulic YELLOW ELEC PUMP required to be turned ON during One Engine taxi?
