A

220 - age = HR max
e.g 220 -18 = 202

from this you can find training zones e.g 70%
HR/100 = X times by training zone
202/100 = 2.02 * 70 = 141.4

This is an estimate to find out how hard an athlete is working on scare of 6-20
E.G RPE * 10 = HR
footballer may have 14 RPE whereas a iron man triathlete may have 19
