means low blood volume and therefore means a low amount of water in the blood. the osmoreceptors in the hypothalamus detect and send impulses to the post pit which secretes ADH and this causes the collecting duct of the nephron to reabsorb water and excrete k ions. this negates problem
high bloop pressure
osmoreceptors in hypothalamus detect and inhibits the release of ADH from the post pit. the collecting duct does not reabsorb water it is excreted
