  • Typically found where potentially dangerous or stressful process must be complete
  • E.g haemostasis , labour and delivery

A
  • Nervous system - Fast , short lasting , crisis management
  • Endocrine system- Longer to react and Longer lasting

Parasympathetic - slow down events -rest and digest
Sympathetic - spped up - Fight and flight
