Whites are very loyal, professional and businesspeople very loyal to party, farmers often republicans, strong evangelical support.

Change can occur but it can be due to federalism and separation of powers, there’s a bigger influence in parliamentary systems where the president doesn’t have to fight congress.

Group of citizens under a label, simplify process of participating.

Official vote, know who will be chosen, unify the party, advertise your candidate.
What is a multi-party system?
Parties aren’t based on broad platforms, there are environmental and religious parties.
What is a one party system?
Where the government is the party and achieving power in the party is power in the government, south prior to 1980’s. Wyoming today possibly.
Are there more democrats or republicans in the US and who is more loyal to their party?
More people identify as democrats than republicans, and republicans are more loyal voters.
What party does best among independents and who is more likely to vote?
Republicans do better among independents and vote at a higher rate.
