Civil rights act of 1964 banned discrimination in the workforce, and 1972 civil rights act banned discrimination in education for women.
What is affirmative action and what does its supports and opponents say about it?
Preferential treatment on the basis of race or gender, supporters say it’s a remedy for racism, opponents say its reverse discrimination.
