Q

What encourage Hitler of for the 1938 Anschluss?

A

Hitler had gained more confidence through the Rhineland and the fact his military was much stronger. He also had an alliance with Mussolini and therefore didnt have to worry about him. Most Austrians were Germany speaking and even Hitler was born there so it made sense for them to join. The league of nations were very weak.
