Straight leg raise
30-40= back/sciatic
60-70= SIJ
IF SIJ: gapping= compress ASIS, less pain=hypo mobile
Push ASIS, less pain= hyper mobile
Limb length test
1) standing= functional (recruits mm)- check alignment
2) supine= anatomical
Gillets test
Looking for anterior/posterior rotation of hip
1) spine flexion= normal= SI raise first, then PSIS
Abnormal= posterior hip tight
2) leg flexion= normal= PSIS down first then SI
Abnormal= anterior hip tight
*check both sides

Stand on one foot, bend knee
Straight leg hip moves up= weak glute med
Fabers test
Looking for tight hips
Box pose
Hip scour test
Assess Labral pathology
(+)= clicking, crepitus, pain
Femeral anteversion/retroversion
Check foot alignment (do both sides)
(+) anteversion= intoe
(+) retroversion= out toe
Thomas test
Mm length test:
IT (+)= leg lateral
Hip flexor (+)= leg elevated (high knee)
Quad (+)= foot higher
90/90
Mm length test:
Hamstring (+)= pain, limited ROM
