What does a high neutrophil count indicate?
High neuts = neutrophilia
- inflammation
- autoimmune
- burns
What is Pseudoneutrophilla?
Falsely elevated Neutrophils
- Stress
- Exposure to temps
- Strenuous exercise
- Anesthia
- bands = baby neuts = infection
Normal Lymphocyte value?
1-3
What is low Lymphocyte counts associated with?
Lymphocytopenia, low lymphocyte count due to:
- Chemo
- Steroid use
- Malnutrition
What is monocytosis?
A low monocyte count (variation of lymphocyte) due to:
- Infection recovery
- TB
- Syphilis
Normal Eosinophil value?
Normal < 0.7
What are Eosinophils associated with?
Allergies or IgE
What are Basophils associated with?
Histamine, Heparin, and allergies
