Language Development is important for organising thoughts and to share and express ideas. Its also important for clarification.
What is the importance of Problem Solving ?
Problem Solving is a skill allowing individuals to work out things and give predictions on what might happen.
What is the importance of Memory ?
Memory is needed to store, recall and retrieve information.
What is the importance of Moral Development ?
Moral Development allows for reasoning and making choices, informing an individual of how to act in a particular situations.
What is the importance of Abstract thoughts and Creative thinking ?
Abstract thoughts and Creative thinking are essential for thinking and discussing situations and events that cannot be observed.
What stage has rapid intellectual development ?
In Infancy and childhood stage has a rapid development of intellectual development in this life stage. This means 90% of brain cell connection are in place when a child is 5 years old.

In adolescence there is a development of logical thoughts, problem solving and memory skills. Adolescence can make judgements based on logical and realistic thinking.

In Later Adulthood adults have a changes in their brains what cause short-term memory decline and slower thought processes and reaction times

Young children have the ability to both understand and use language.

At birth a babies brain is on average 30% the size of their adult brain.

At the age of 2 year old a child’s brain in on average 80% of their adult size brain.

At 3 months Infants begin to make babbling noises as they learn to control the muscles associated with speech.

At 12 months Infants begin to imitate sounds made by carers such as “da da”. This develops into using single words.

At 2 years old infants begin to make two-word sentences, such “cat goed”. The Infant begins to build their vocabulary.

At 3 years old children begin to make simple sentences, such as “I want drink”. This develops into the ability to ask questions , “where we go?”. Knowledge of words [vocabulary] grows very rapidly.

At 4 years old children begin to use clear sentences that can be understood by strangers. Children can be expected to make some mistakes with grammar “we met lots of peoples at the shop today”.
How far has language developed by 5 years old child ?
At 5 year old children can speak using full adult grammar. Although vocabulary will continue to grow and formal grammar will continue to improve, most children can be expected to use language effectively.

Infants can develop their language skills playing puppets, watch and listen to other children, look at picture books and joining in actions rhymes and songs.

Young children can develop their language skills by taking part in circle time, taking part in group activities, imaginary play, share stories and rhymes, play word games and riddles.

Adolescence can develop their language skills by reading a wide range of books, taking part in group activities, discuss ideas and by planning and delivering presentations.
