Why are immunisations given
Immunisations and vaccinations against disease are given to people of all ages to prevent diseases such as mumps or measles. A small amount of the disease is brought into your bloodstream and your immune system fights against this small part of the disease so that if it ever comes back it’s able to fight it

A booster shot is a top up on the immunisation to make sure it will last a long time

What are the guidelines to help you maintain fitness and health
- include at least 30 minutes of exercise a day as part of your normal daily activities(play,sport,transport and leisure)
- engage 3 or more 20 minute sessions of moderate to vigorous activity per week
- choose an activity you like
- exercise with friends if it’s more fun
- stretch your muscles before and after exercise
