What happens to people who don’t eat breakfast
People who don’t eat breakfast often consume more calories throughout the day and are more likely to be over weight. This is because someone who skips breakfast is more likely to be hungry before lunchtime and snack on high-calorie foods or to overeat at lunch
What is are examples of healthy breakfastes
Cereals- porridge,muesli,fruit and fibre,all bran weetabix
Breads-whole meal
Fruit and veg-fruit juices, fruit smoothies, while or half fruits
Milk- hot or cold in cereal, glass of milk, cheese, yoghurts
Meat/protein- eggs, grilled rashers,sausages,black and white pudding, peanut butter in toast

Breakfast is the first and most important meal on the day. It fuels the body to help provide energy, better concentration and problem solving ability throughout the day.
What are guidelines for planning breakfast menus
Include foods from all food groups
Consider the time of year(weather)
Choose grilled rather than frried
Choose high fibre breakfast cereals and avoid those with a high sugar content
Allow enough time to sit down and enjoy your breakfast
Use low fat spreads on bread
How do you set a breakfast tray
Collect all necessary equipment for single place setting
Ensure all glassware and cutlery are sparkling
Use small dishes and jugs for butter marmalade, sugar and milk
