1) 8 monkeys taken from mother placed in cage with 2 ‘mothers’
- 1 wire with food
- 1 cloth without food
2) monkey’s were frightened to test preference
3) and put in a larger cage to test exploration with each mother
what were the results of harlow’s study
preference of cloth mother 15hrs with cloth 2hrs with wire only played when cloth mother present when frightened went to cloth mother
