Turn off rd wo designed turn/exit lane
Avoid smth ahead that drivers behind u can’t see
Parking/turning right b4 intersection
These ppl might not see u, give xtra space
Drivers @ intersections/driveways whose view is blocked by buildings, trees, vehicles
Drivers backing into Rd or backing into/out of parking spaces
Drivers w snow, ice or steam on windows
Peds w umbrella or hat in front of face
Peds walking in same direction as traffic have back to u
Peds/bikes xing st where another driver is stopped
Bikes behind others
These ppl might b distracted, give xtra space
- delivery
- construction workers
- children
- distracted drivers
- ppl on phone
These ppl might b confused, give xtra space
- tourists or ppl who seem to be unsure where they’re going
- drivers, motorcycles or bikes slowing 4 no apparent reason.
Remember they may see smth u can’t from ur lane position - drivers, mc & bikes looking 4 st signs & house numbers
